A multimedia art exhibition that is part of the first OneEighty festival program, enSight is an innovative project charting the evolution from raw science data into works of art. It centers on the creation of a series of triptychs by artists, paired with scientists who provide inspiration.

To what extent knowledge of the origin of the data influence's the artist's perception in the final submission is unknown. enSight will explore the shifting boundaries between science and art. enSight will run as an open competition to be judged in Edinburgh by a panel of leading contemporary and science art curators. Winning pieces will be selected for an exhibition to run during the OneEighty Festival.
